Hello and welcome to the online home of Hawkins Miniatures.
My name is Mark Hawkins otherwise known as Jester 666 on WAMP, Cool Mini or Not and a number of other sites. I am a professional figure painter with many years experience working on fantasy, science-fiction and historical miniatures and models for collectors and gamers all over the world.
Over the years I have won a number of awards including a Golden Demon and a variety of regional competitions. I am also a veteran of the Games Workshop design studio where I worked for several years as an artist and designer.

What can I do for you?
I do not paint specifically to a particular standard. Rather I paint what you want, when you want and as close to how you want it as possible.
If you want a well painted and tidy unit of troops on a tight budget. No problem
Maybe you need a pro-painted, jaw-dropping god of the game-table to lead your army. I can do it.
Or even an entire army painted for battle or display. I can even build you a great looking diorama base or convert and sculpt miniatures to your specific needs.
I pride myself on being able to alter my painting style to fit in with your needs as a collector or gamer. I will always do my utmost to paint miniatures to fit in with the look of your existing models if required and can even finish off those pesky miniatures you just can’t find the time to complete.
On top of all this, I offer a miniature preparation service. Send me your sprues and unassembled metal and resin and they will be returned to you cleaned-up, assembled, filled and primed ready to paint.

How much it costs and how it all works.
Every project is as individual as the person I am working for so I do not have a regimented, set-in-stone price list. Every project is approached with professionalism, courtesy and enthusiasm and above all a desire to see you get what you want for a fair and reasonable price that won’t break the bank.
Throughout the process, I will keep you informed on the progress of your project and provide you with work-in-progress pictures at regular intervals or as required. You can make changes during the process and together we can get the miniature just how you want it. You are in control the whole way.
I do not ask for a deposit prior to starting a project unless you need me to supply the miniatures/ models to be worked on. In which case, payment of these items will need to be provided. Otherwise you only need part with your money once the project is complete and you happy with the result. The completed item/s will be returned to by Royal Mail Special Deilivery or Airsure if you are outside the UK once you payment clears. For convenience, I accept payment by PayPal or Personal Cheque.
