So what a first year its been for our sponosred contests, but here we are - its the last on of the year - number 10 and we've saved a cracker to finish off with.
Its now the turn of Pegaso, www.pegasomodels.com who produce a fantastic range of minis and have donated some equally fantastic prizes.

First lets get the rules out of the way:

You must be a Wamp Member to participate although membership is free.

You may enter as many times as you like but each entry may only submit one photograph so if you need more angles it MUST be a montage
any additional photographs of that entry will be removed

Each entrant is only eligible for one prize. In the event of an entrant winning more than one prize they will receive the prize of highest value - any subsequent prizes will be awarded to the next highest placed entrant.

All entries must be new work within the last 3 months and previously unpublished in other contests

You give Wamp and Pegaso permission to use your pictures for publicity (but you do retain owenrship)

You may post pictures of WIP or final shots both here and elsewhere

Judging will be carried out by poll

The deadline for submission is 14th December 2009 6pm GMT

IF you are a wamp supporter then you benefit from an extended dealine which will be 72 hours later at 6pm 17th December GMT (for details on becoming a wamp sponsor please visits the announcements section)

Submissions must be posted to the Pegaso contest album

All entries must feature Pegaso miniatures only.
You may use accesories and bases from other companies as long as the piece is inherently Pegaso

You may enter a single miniature, diorama full 300 piece battle scene - whatever you like as long as its Pegaso

All entries must use an Pegaso miniature that was available to buy from their store within the last 12 months

Pegaso carry many ranges, including Romeo models, Elite Miniatures and Periscopio Publications - you may enter miniatures from these ranges too

Any problems or questions then feel free to ask here or pm me

Entires may be placed her:

Now the good bit, the prizes:

1st place - Ogre Warrior 1:6 resin bust worth £60

2nd place - Lilith 80mm Metal miniature worth £36

3rd place - Boadicea queen of Iceni 75mm metal miniature worth £31

If you have any questions then feel free to contact me via email or pm

Cheers,

Brett

Last year you may recall Wamp held a charity auction to raise money for the NSPCC . We managed with a lot of help to raise over £650. But I thought this year we could do a little better!

The aim this year is to raise over £1,000 for Tommy's, a charity dedicated to preventing miscarriage and still births. It's a cause close to my heart and no doubt some of you will have been affected by the subject yourself. If you want you can read my personal experiences here: My Story
So after 3 months and hundreds of emails I can finally launch this contest.

The concept is simple - you can enter anything you want - miniatures, diorama, scenery.
You can enter as many times as you want.
You can enter something you paint next week or something you painted 20 years ago. It doesn't matter if its been in other contests - enter your slayer sword winning entry if you like!!
The one major rule is that everything you enter you must auction and donate the proceeds to Tommy's

To tempt you into doing this I have begged, cajoled and plain old pestered companies and the result is this contest has a prize fund currently sitting at £1549.41 and that will definitely rise more.
Yes that figure is correct!! that's over $2600 or €1663 worth of miniatures, bases, brushes, DVD's and even cold hard cash!
There are currently at least 50 prize categories you can win - there are sponsor specific prizes, best genre prizes, random entry prizes, prizes for best orc, best base, best diorama, highest and lowest auction price and more!!
One prize stands out and that is of course the Best in Show prize.
One lucky winner who scoops this prize will receive a massive prize pot currently valued at £315.37 and is guaranteed to grow and that includes cash!!
To see the up-to-date prize list and catagories click here

The deadline for entries is valentines day (easy to remember) - 14th February 2010 so a ton of time to enter!
Full rules can be found here

There are tons of ways to get involved with this campaign.
The best way is of course to enter the contest - the more the merrier.
If not then you can help spread the word - copy and paste the banner or link (I shall add shortly) and put it in your forum sigs or your emails, post the announcement on your site or forum.
maybe you can donate a prize or two?
Bid on the auctions of course helps and you can simply donate money directly here:
http://www.tommys.org/wamp
£1 or £500 it all helps.
My 4 year old daughter is even going to paint a model to help out!!

This really has the potential to do great things. I do believe we can raise plenty.

And please don't be put off entering or thinking your stuff wont sell - it all helps, there are random prizes and even a prize for the lowest auction price!

Finally a massive thank you to Shanerozzel for doing the banner and to all the sponsors who have been so generous to support us.

Please help support the cause in any way you can

Entries should be placed here
Each entry may be placed in only ONE of these catagories - They will automatically be entered into all other eligible categories (such as monster, sci-fi, etc)
If you are unsure ask!

Donations
So why donate to WaMP?
Basically we are just trying to make sure that this forum continues giving you the best we possibly can. This does take a little money to achieve.

How much are we asking for?
We leave that open to you.

What do you get out of it?
A part from the good feeling you get for giving to a good cause, for all those who have donated £3 or more we will enter you into a prize draw at the end of the year, for a prize of £20 in vouchers for one of the mini sellers or manufacturers. Deadlines to the sponsored competitions will be extended by 3 days for the rest of the year as well.
